산업·사회 문제 해결

 

▷ 참여교수: 이지현

연세대 세브란스 병원 교수들과 병원 내 감염확산 방지를 위해 스크리닝 문진, 의료진 방어복 사용 등에 대한 대응전략의 가장 효과적인 방안을 찾는 연구를 수행 중이다. 또한, 세브란스 병원 교수 및 영국의 질병관리본부(PHI) 연구원들과 함께 사회적 거리두기의 완화 및 학교의 온라인 개학 이후 등교개학으로 전환했을 때, 예측가능한 문제점을 파악하는 연구를 수행하였으며, 그 결과를 논문 투고 할 예정이다.

▷ 참여교수: 김정훈

효율적인 금융자산가격모형 개발과 다양한 파생금융상품에 대한 공정가격 결정에 대한 연구를 수행하여 저널에 출판하여 왔으며, COVID-19이 금융시장에 미친 영향에 대한 분석을 포함한 2020년 2학기 수행한 다음과 같은 연구내용 결과를 저널에 투고하였다.

- Is there a ‘qualitative’ impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on financial market?

- Efficient pricing of variance swaps under a rescaled double Heston stochastic volatility model

- Multiscale stochastic elasticity of variance model for options and equity linked annuity

 

▷ 참여교수: 최희준

한반도 상공에서 미세먼지들이 유입되어 사람들의 호흡기 질환과 피부병유발 등의 심각한 문제들이 발생하고 있다. 본 연구진(이광진박사, 최희준교수)은 서울에서 생기는 오염물질과 미세먼지 확산에 대한 난류모델을 개발하고 그 수치계산을 수행하였다. 이 결과는 JOURNAL OF APPLIED METEOROLOGY AND CLIMATOLOGY에 출간되었다.

 

▷ 참여교수: 서진근

삼성메디슨과 세브란스 산부인과와 공동으로 초음파 영상을 이용한 양수량 측정 자동화 방법을 세계 최초로 개발하였다. 양수지수 (Amniotic Fluid Index(AFI)는 태아의 건강상태에 대한 생물학적 수치로 양수의 양(정상, 과다, 부족)을 측정하는 것임. 자궁내 발육지연, 태반착색, 태아 곤란증과 관련하여 필수적이다. 그러나, AFI의 측정은 초음파 환경에서 수작업으로 수행함으로 의사의 피로도가 매우 높은 작업이며, 숙련된 전문가가 되는 과정에는 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하다. 이에 진료 현장의 작업흐름(Work-flow)을 극대화시킬 수 있는 “태아 양수 측정 자동화 시스템” 개발이 필요하였다. 서진근 교수 연구팀은 초음파 환경에서 딥러닝 기반의 “자동화된 양수 측정 시스템” 개발을 통해 사용자는 초음파 스캔에서 신속하고, 정확하고, 일관성 있는 AFI의 측정을 수행할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 이결과는 impact factor 11.148인 저명저널 “Medical Image Analysis”에 게재하였다. ▷ 참여교수: 이은정

연세대 세브란스 병원 영상의학과 곽진영 교수팀과 딥러닝을 통해 초음파 영상으로부터 암을 진단해 내는 알고리즘을 개발하고 이를 병원내 의료진이 직접 이용하여 진단에 도움을 받을 수 있도록 하는 프로그램을 보급하였다. 이를 통하여 경험이 부족한 의료진의 진단 능력 훈련에 이용하고 각종 연구에 그 결과를 사용하고 있다.
